I am also interested and proficient in other musical instruments -- brass instruments (especially French Horn, Trombone and Euphonium) and piano accordion.  

 

As an undergraduate at SIUE, I studied trombone and euphonium with Jim Martin, and continued study intermittently at UT-Austin.  I have performed in many ensembles in the St. Louis and Austin areas, including the St. Louis Brass Band (baritone), SIUE Wind Symphony (Euphonium/Trombone), SIUE Concert Jazz Band (Bass and Tenor trombone), University of Texas Orchestra (UTUO), Alton Symphony Orchestra, and municipal bands of Edwardsville, Staunton, and Carlinville.  I have played in a variety of musical pit ensembles (State Fair, Guys and Dolls, 1940's Radio Hour, Li'l Abner) and also thoroughly enjoy playing in brass quintets and other small ensembles.
